Hanafuda cards
1907 marked the year when Nintendo partnered with Japan Tobacco & Salt Corporation in order to sell their Hanafuda cards in cigarette stores. They are deemed the first Japanese company to successfully manufacture and sell Western playing cards in Japan.
That same year, Fusajiro Yamauchi's daughter married Sekiryo Kaneda.
