3-D WorldRunner is a video game for the Nintendo Entertainment System that was released in 1987 under the development of Square. Originally released in Japan on the Famicom Disk System as Tobidase Daisakusen, it was the first Square developed game ever to reach North American shores. In the game, you control Jack, a "space cowboy", and traverse your way through multiple different 3-D worlds. The game was praised for having polished 3-D graphics for the NES and Famicom. The game is known as having an all-star cast of designers who would go on to create the Final Fantasy series.
The game was never released in Europe.
