Adventure Island is a NES video game released in 1986. It was developed and published by Hudson, and was later released on the Wii's Virtual Console. It is also hinted that Hudson will release a WiiWare title of this game projected to be released in April 2009.

The game had eight worlds or zones that the main character would be required to venture through. In each world, there are three levels, and at the end of the third level, you will encounter a boss. Each level also has a checkpoint that the character will return to when he dies.
