Altered Beast is a Nintendo Entertainment System and Virtual Console video game initially released in arcades in the late eighties and later on various other consoles. The Virtual Console re-release is that of the Sega Genesis and arcade versions. The Genesis and arcade versions have been re-released worldwide on the Virtual Console.
