An Arctic Spawn is a species found in the Nintendo DS video game Metroid Prime Hunters. As its name implies, it is native to colder regions. They are extremely territorial, and will attack anyone who disturbs them. Apparently they need to live in places with low temperatures, or else they would die.
They attack by shooting out powerful and potentially fatal shards of ice at their opponents, and can be found in Arcterra.
