Axem Rangers are members of the Smithy Gang who face off against Mario in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. They were created by Smithy to try and take the Seven Stars. There are five rangers; Axem Pink, Axem Black, Axem Red, Axem Yellow and Axem Green. Their names aren't entirely original, though nevertheless it's quite easy to remember who's who when playing.
The Axem Rangers barge in on Mario once he defeats the Czar Dragon and Zombone and acquires a star. Mario chases them down and finally gets to fight them one on one. They each surprised Mario with their unique abilities.

Axem RedEdit
The red Axem Ranger is great overall and is the leader of the Axem Rangers, he can also power up and deal heavy damage.
Axem GreenEdit
The green Axem Ranger is great with magic.
Axem PinkEdit
The pink Axem Ranger is great with healing.
Axem BlackEdit
The black Axem Ranger is great overall.
Axem YellowEdit
The yellow Axem Ranger is great physically.
Mega RobotEdit
The Axem Rangers also have a Mega Robot that can deal heavy damage with its special beam.

- The Axem Rangers and the Koopa Bros. from Paper Mario are based off from The Power Rangers and The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles respectively
