Azure Striker Gunvolt is a game developed and self published by Inti Creates for the 3DS. It shares many similarities with Mega Man Zero series, which they also developed.

Soon after the start of 2015, it was revealed that the game had sold over 90,000 copies. The game had yet to release in several regions like Europe at that point. At the end of April, the game sold 110,000 copies[1]
Successive entries
The game Mighty Gunvolt is a spinoff that combines all 3 series owned by Inti Creates/ Comcept including Azure Striker Gunvolt. It released alongside this game and was for a while free with a purchase of the game. A sequel was soon revealed to be in development in February.
