Baby Rosalina is a video game character who is a baby version of her adult counterpart, Rosalina. She is a racer appearing in the Mario Kart series. She first appeared in Mario Kart 8 and reappeared in its remaster, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.

She has similarities with Rosalina. She wears a pale turquoise dummy. She has a yellow binky in her mouth.

Personality[]

She is the most silent of all of the babies. Despite her being excited, she normally acts calm.

Mario Kart 8[]

Baby Rosalina makes her Mario Kart debut in this game. She is a lightweight racer. Her emblem is an icon of a small Grand Star with the dark turquoise background and on the outside with white petals. In Time Trials, Nin★Maria from Portugal used Baby Rosalina on a Biddybuggy, Standard and Super Glider and the time of 2:26.347 in Cloudtop Cruise.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe[]

Baby Rosalina appears again as a featherweight racer. She shares the same driver statistics with Lemmy Koopa. With the rival order, Toadette is her opponent. Used by the 150cc staff ghost who is the same staff ghost from Mario Kart 8 with the same vehicle parts but different time (2:19.568) in Cloudtop Cruise.

Mario Kart Tour[]

In Mario Kart Tour, Baby Rosalina is a Normal tier character. Her special item is the Bubble, though in the closed beta test, her special item was the Boomerang Flower. She would also get a tour named after herself, called the Baby Rosalina Tour, which began on March 11th, 2020, and ended on March 24th, 2020. It also introduced a high-end tier variant of her, called the Baby Rosalina (Detective). The special item for this character is the dash ring.

Dr. Mario World[]

Baby Rosalina is an unlockable playable character in Dr. Mario World, though she is referred to as Dr. Baby Rosalina. She was added alongside Dr. Kamek in around December 2019. Her skill changes a random object into a rainbow capsule, in both stage mode and versus mode. Viruses are targeted first for being changed before other objects are targeted. Coins, capsules, objects that can eliminate viruses (for example, the Exploder), and objects that cannot be eliminated (such as the Empty Block) cannot be transformed.
