Barbara the Bat (バーバラ・バット, Bābara Batto) is the most iconic and main guitarist in the game Daigasso! Band Brothers, she also appears on most of its menus and sells things to the players. Though there is no specific story in the game, she is accepted as the main character of it. In the game, she manages the store GB Music (the GB standing for Great Barbara). She is also the host and owner of a magic shop in the game Master of Illusion.

Other Appearances[]

Super Smash Bros. series[]

Barbara appears as an Assist Trophy in the Wii game Super Smash Bros. Brawl. She is one of the few unlockable Assist Trophies, and appropriately the only way to acquire her is to find twenty five hidden songs in the game, after which she'll be available as one of the random characters in an Assist Trophy. In the game she'll jam on her guitar which will cause sound waves to emit from it, damaging anyone in its way (excluding the character who threw the Assist Trophy).

Barbara returns in the next addition to the series, "Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U", but not as an Assist Trophy. A piece of headgear appears that resembles her hairstyle, which can be equipped to all Mii Fighters. She also appears as a trophy, but exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS.

Barbara returns in the latest installment Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, returning with her headgear from the last game. She also has a spirit in this game, an ace primary grab spirit that only able to be summoned by using cores of Rouge the Bat, Prince Saruno, and a grab core.

Trophy description (Brawl)[]

In the Japanese version, Barbara's other game appearance is listed English Training instead of Master of Illusion/'Magic Made Fun.

BarbaraTrophy3DS

Barbara appears in the 3DS version.

(US version): As the manager of a slightly dubious talent agency, Barbara's always looking for people who want to join a band. She'll even teach you to play—whether you ask her or not. It's best to let her think she's taking advantage of you, even if she really isn't. Her hidden theme music really illustrates the contrast of darkness and light in her soul...or something.
