Belome is a giant dog like creature who appeared in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars for the SNES. The behemoth blocked Mario and group's path toward Tadpole Pond, though the team defeated him in order to get through.
Later on he appeared once more in his own temple, where Mario was once again had to fight the beast. During this time it appeared that Belome had learned new abilities. Once defeated, Mario and gang would gain access to Monstro Town.
