The Black Sugar Pirates are the primary antagonists in Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3 and Wario Land II Their main goal in Wario Land is to take all the treasure there is to be had but Wario sets out for the same goal. In Wario Land II, their main objective is to steal back all the treasure that Wario stole from them in the first game. They are led by Wario's nemesis Captain Syrup and their lower ranks consist mostly of gooms.
