Bowser's Castle is a third track of Special Cup in Mario Kart DS. Just like most of Mario Kart games, Bowser's Castle always appear in Special Cup before the Rainbow Road. It is second longest track in the game and it is one of the most difficult track in the game. You have to be careful not to get affected by several monsters e.g. being crushed by Thwomps, got slowed down by the moving circle, falling into angry pool of poisonous lava or falling into the garden ruins etc.
Layout: You start from the beginning of the Bowser's Castle. When you enter inside, Bowser statue face will make sinister cackle. When you go inside, be sure not to get crushed by nasty, cantankerous Thwomp because he will hinder you by flattening you, heavily slowing you down. Then you go on the black stair and you go through the slender bridge. You then go moving, circular roundabout and go to 2 directions: first has one Thwomp with broken window and second has harmless, moving Thwomp with red carpet and fire burner. Then you go to a perilous bridge with pool of red lava that burns you. Then you go to spinning log bridge. If you don't fall successfully you go to high black platform with set of item boxes. If you fall into garden ruin, go to the nearest exit with an arrow. You then go to two moving black platforms. Half of them stop when you step into the platforms, while others keep moving. You then head to a finish.
Mario Kart WiiEdit
When you start you can see a jump which has 3 item boxes. Then, the floor moves up and down and you can also do tricks. After that, there are some Thwomps that will crush you. Then, after the Thwomps, there is a robo-Bowser, jumps, and some mud. The robo-Bowser breathes fireballs that explode on impact. If you fail the jumps, you will fall into some lava. After that, there is lava that go up. Then there are 3 lines of fireballs that whill burn you and then you fall into some lava. After the fireballs, there are some fire geysers. You can do tricks on the geysers, but you can also get hit by the geysers. Finally, there is the finish line.

Mario Kart 7Edit
Bowser's Castle again, again and AGAIN reappeared in third track of Special Cup! It looks like a haunted mansion rather than being Bowser's personal castle-like. If you listen to the music, it may look frightening and slightly boring. Unlike all Bowser's Castles, you can see there are lots of differences (please see below for list of differences).
Layout: You start on the lavender-white road below the giant red/white ring. You glide through the ferocious lava and see if you are lucky to avoid nasty monsters. If you glide too high, you land on ash platform beyond the coal-black gate. You drop into the reddish-grey road above wild lava with two fire-coloured zippers. If you didn't manage to go above the platform, you go on the grey road with hump in it. It is impossible to go on reddish road because the gate blocks this road. Instead, go on the red stair with four item boxes. Go through the mansion-like castle while facing through harsh Thowmps and savage lava. If you get past the monsters, you go under/in/on the DK's barrel (possibly there when Bowser steals barrel from jungle). You go to the underwater with fierce lava falling incredibly slowly into the hole. When you exit the underwater section, you exit the Bowser's Castle and you face the angry lava by going on the grey road. Go to 90-degree curve and then glide in the ring to finish this course.
- DK-like barrel added.
- There is an underwater.
- Mansion-like and very frightening.
- When you exit underwater, lavas act as a very hot waterfall.
- Black gate and red stairs added.
