Celebi(JP) is a species of Pokémon in the series of the same name. It is a dual-type Psychic/Grass Mythical Pokémon that made its first appearance in the second generation games Gold and Silver.

Super Smash Bros. series

In Melee and Brawl, it is a special Poké Ball Pokémon like Mew and Jirachi. In Melee, it requires everything to be unlocked and all the events beaten to appear and has a 1 in 251 chance of appearing. It rewards the player who released with a score bonus and a trophy of Celebi. In Brawl, there are no requirements but, it appears in a 1 in 493 chance. It drops trophies when summoned. In Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS, it is just a trophy.
