 Chancellor Cole is the main antagonist of The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks on the Nintendo DS. In the beginning of the game, he is the patriarch of Hyrule, though Princess Zelda expresses her suspicions about him early on. Under Chancellor Cole's two hats on his head are horns marking his appartenance to the Demon Tribe


History[]

At some point after The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass and the foundation of New Hyrule Cole became Chancellor of the newly born country he then start to become more and more influential in the kingdom at the point where he grew more powerful than the princess herself and began to give her order, After escaping from the castle with Link, Chancellor Cole crashes Link's train and reveals himself to be a servant of the demon king Malladus who he wishes to set free by removing Zelda's spirit from her body. He is later seen at the top of the Spirit Tower where he sucessfully resurrect Malladus with Zelda's body he then betray Bryne and flee with Malladus abord the Demon Train since Malladus powers are not yet fully fused with Zelda's body. He is then faced along Malladus in the Dark Realm before being ejected of it during the explosion of the Demon Train, He is then used as a host for Malladus and is killed along him by Zelda and Link in the following battle.

Battle[]

Cole is never faced by himself and fulfill the role of a supporting character for the real boss, during the battle with Malladus in Zelda's body he creates ghost rats that allow him to control Zelda's Phantom armor as a puppet if one of these rats gets in the armor then Link will be forced to use his Boomerang to cut the strings.
