ChuChus are an enemies The Legend of Zelda series. They are jelly-like monsters that come in many different subspecies. Each subspecies has different abilities. A ChuChu's main attack is jump at Link. In The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, ChuChus sometimes eat each other in battle. They will become a larger ChuChu that has the combined mass of the two ChuChus. This will keep happening until there is one giant ChuChu. If Link slashes it, will split into two ChuChus and so on and so forth.
Red ChuChusRed ChuChus date back to The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, where they waddled around Termina Field. If Link killed one, he would always get a recovery heart.
In The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Link would get Chu Jelly.
Green ChuChus also go back to The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. If Link killed one, he would always get Magic Power.
In The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, Link would get Green Chu Jelly if he killed one. They first appear on Forest Haven and are very common in the Forbbiden Woods. Green ChuChus can convert themselves to blobs that Link cannot hurt.
In The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, Blue ChuChus are the rarest ChuChus. They are found only on small islands and there is only one on each island. Killing one gives Link, Blue Chu Jelly. Blue ChuChus will electrocute Link if he touches them.
In The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, killing a Blue ChuChu would give Link, Chu Jelly. They are also the most common ChuChus.
In The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, these ChuChus are first found in the Tower of the Gods. They have no Chu Jelly, but if they did, it would be yellow or orange. They electrocute Link when he touches them and can turn themselves into blobs that Link cannot hurt.
Dark ChuChus appeared in the Earth Temple in The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. These purple ChuChus are challenging at first. If Link tries to kill them, they will split into smaller droplets. Then the Master Sword passes through them. But like most creatures of the deep and the dark, Dark ChuChus cannot touch light. If they do they turn to stone. They can then be crushed by the Skull Hammer.
The rarest of the three subspecies of ChuChu in The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess as there are only five in Hyrule. Once Link kills one, there are only four as they do not come back to the room when Link exits. When he does kill one, which should only be done during absolute necessity, he finds Rare Chu Jelly.
