Computer Mah-jong Yakuman is a Nintendo handheld video game released only in Japan[1]. Released around the same time as Nintendo's Game & Watch games, it's not considered part of the series despite baring similarities such as an LED screen and portability. The game was a bit more complicated than most Game & Watch games since it's Mahjong with a total of 20 buttons and two switches.

It runs on four AA batteries, and had accesories available for it. There was a AC adapter costing ¥1,000, and a game link cable for ¥2,000. This is the first handheld to have a game link cable, predating the Game Boy link cable by 6 years. The game link cable allows people to play against other people instead of a computer opponent.
