A crate is a large wooden box used to contain various objects. Crates appear in many games; one of it's more notable appearances is in the Super Smash Bros. series. They contain items and can occasionally explode.
In Super Smash Bros. Brawl, crates vary in appearance depending on which stage the players are fighting. Also, the rolling crate debuted which, as its name implies, can roll on any tilted surface, or on any flat surface when hit.
