Crystal Defenders is a WiiWare remake of the iPhone video game of the same name. The game was released on January 27, 2009 and takes place in the Final Fantasy location Ivalice. The graphics seem to have been ripped directly from Final Fantasy Tactics A2: Grimoire of the Rift and Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings, which isn't surprising seeing that these two games were also part of the Ivalice Alliance. According to the developers Square Enix, Crystal Defenders takes place after Grimoire of the Rift for the Nintendo DS.
