Cutter's main ability is the boomerang. In Kirby's Adventure, he can throw up to 3 Boomerangs
Cutter Boomerang - Kirby tosses the blade in front of him with some directional influence up or down. If the attack misses Kirby, it can hit enemies behind Kirby. In Squeak Squad, the Copy Scroll makes the blade larger, more powerful and able to cut through certain objects.
Hyper Boomerang - Introduced in Return to Dream Land, Kirby can charge the boomerang by holding the attack button. Once it flashes, it grows bigger and more powerful and can bounce off the environment for a short time.
Cutter Dash - While dashing and attacking, Kirby will charge forward, swinging the cutter like sword upward.
Sweep Cutter - Kirby throws a Cutter Boomerang like normal, but holds out another one while doing so.
Cutter Drop - While in midair, Kirby holds his cutter in front of him, hurting foes as he falls.
Cleaving Cutter - Kirby slashes at a nearby enemy with the Cutter. This move combos into Final Cutter.
Final Cutter - A combo finisher where Kirby jumps up and then slashes down with a shockwave that
In Kirby's Adventure, Kirby retains his default sprite. Kirby 64 has a similar look for the ability though the Cutters are made of Kirby's flesh
Starting with Super Star, he gains a yellow hat with eyes and wings on the side. A blade on top of the hat is detached and thrown like boomerang. Return to Dream Land changed the rim to a lighter yellow.
