Daisy Oak is a resident of Pallet Town, and a minor character in the Pokémon series, being the older sister of Blue, Red/Leaf's rival in Pokémon Red and Blue and its remakes, and granddaughter of Professor Oak. She likes to take care of Pokémon and, apparently, also enjoys Pokémon contests.

In the games

In the original Red and Blue, she helps the player by giving him a Town Map at the beginning of his journey. In the sequel Pokémon Gold and Silver and Crystal, she will still live in the same house in Pallet Town, grooming the player's Pokémon once each day between 3 and 4 p.m. She will also tell the player how happy his/her Pokémon are. She'll regain this role of grooming Pokémon Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen. However, the games don't feature any time of the day. The same tea she buys in both games is from the Celadon Dept. Store.

In the manga

In the Pokémon Special Manga, Daisy assists Professor Oak in his laboratory. It is also revealed that she was an old friend of Courtney when she was a Pokémon coordinator.

In The Electric Tale of Pikachu, Daisy is named May (no relation). Ash Ketchum has a crush on her, and attempting to impress her provides him motivation to do well in his Pokémon journey.
