Dandelions are somewhat rare plants in Pikmin and Pikmin 2 only appearing in three spots. These don't effect gameplay, like a lot of other plants. There is also Seeding Dandelions, which are even more rare. This is one of the few Pikmin species that it's named after it's real world counterpart.
