Danny Phantom: The Ultimate Enemy is a beat 'em up released for the Game Boy Advance, based on the Nickelodeon animated series Danny Phantom. It primarily focuses on the plot of the hour-length episode of the same name, which aired about a week after the game's release.

Gameplay[]

The game works as a side-scrolling beat 'em up where the player plays as the titular Danny Phantom. As Danny Phantom, the player uses their ghost powers to fight various ghosts in each stage, with each stage ending with a boss fight with one of the ghosts from the special.

Plot[]

While studying for a standardized test, Danny Fenton, alias the half-ghost superhero Danny Phantom, is pulled into a fight with Box Lunch (the future daughter of the Box Ghost and the Lunch Lady), during which he accidentally phases through Mr. Lancer's suitcase and ends up with the test answers. Danny is tempted to cheat on the test using the answers, but he soon learns that his cheating will lead to 1) the death of his family and friends, and 2) his ghost half fusing with Vlad Plasmius's ghost half to become the titular ultimate enemy.
