Do not confuse Shadow Link with Dark Link. Dark Link is an enemy clone Link made by an unknown evil. There are three evil Dark Links. Some people say that the three Dark Links are like the three pieces of a dark Triforce. Some say that they keep evil in Hyrule as Link keeps light in Hyrule and that balance is needed.
