Diamonts are species found in the Metroid series, notably (and only) found in the Nintendo DS video game Metroid Prime: Hunters. The only known Diamont is Spire, who happens to be the last member of the species. They are rock based creatures who have lava colored spikes jutting out of their backs. Just like Samus Aran can go into Morph Ball mode, Diamonts (or at least Spire), can go into a similar form known as Dialanche, which allows them to climb up walls via their spikes.
