Disney Epic Mickey is a video game for the Wii, which was developed by Disney Interactive Studios. The game was released on November 30, 2010. The game is produced by Warren Spector, the creator of the Deus Ex and Thief series. The gameplay features a paint system similar to Okami. Its sequel, Disney Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two, was released in late 2012.


A long time ago, Mickey Mouse accidentally stumbled into the workshop of Yen Sid, where he was putting the finishing touches on a home for all of his forgotten creations. While playing around with the paint, Mickey accidentally creates the Shadow Blot, and tries to get rid of him using the paint thinner nearby. Before he can fix things, Yen Sid comes rushing to the room and Mickey runs away, leaving the paint thinner and the monster he created to leak into the world Yen Sid created. Many years later, the Shadow Blot reaches from the world of forgotten characters and drags Mickey into it, forcing Mickey to face the chaos and destruction he caused...
