Smash

Lucario can perform Double Team as his down special to counter an opponent's attack. Lucario takes a stance and creates copies for the opponent to attack. If an opponent hits Lucario in this state, Lucario will teleport around the location of the attack and dive kick into the back of the opponent, aiming at the location of where he was hit. The counter state lasts longer than the other counters but also has a longer ending animation. Lucario however also has invincibility to all attacks including grabs and can counter the KO Uppercut.

Interestingly, this counter is unlike the other counters in that it does a set amount of damage regardless of the damage output. It does 7% at damage below 20% and at 170% or higher it deals 15%.

Customization

  • Glancing Counter - It deals overall less damage and knockback but, has a hitbox even when Lucario is not hit
  • Stunning Double Team - It replaces the dive kick with a teleport with electricity. It deals electric damage and stuns that foe
