Fiddleheads are strange looking plants in Pikmin 2 for the Nintendo GameCube. They have a twisted head of a violin, hence their name. These are at dark and damp places, such as wet caves. These release spores, seeds and pollen.

Olimar's notes

"At first glance, this plant resembles the spring used in the ship's sub-light engine. Many of its most primitive characteristics remain intact, including its habit of spreading through the dispersal of spores."

Louie's notes

"Sun-dry the leaves for several days, then grind them with a mortar and pestle. The resulting herb grants an aromatic, earthy flavor to mutton and poultry dishes."
