Arthur's Absolutely Fun Day! is a video game released for the Game Boy Color in 2000. It was developed by Ed Magnin and Associates and published by The Learning Company. It is based off of the TV series made by Marc Brown.
Gameplay[]
The player guides the main character of the game, Arthur Read around his home town of Elwood Park. In the game, you are able to play 10 different minigames involving characters from the show. Once you have completed a minigame, the player is given a star. You need 10 stars to make it to the the towns theme park Wonderworld where you are able to play 5 other minigames as much as you wanted.
Minigames[]
Elwood Park[]
- You play basketball with his friend Francine. In order to complete the minigame, the player must score 10 times to get the star.
- You have to pick berry's at Wanda's Berry Farm where the player must collect 10 berries to get the star.
- Skateboarding to pick up trash where you must pick up ten pieces to collect the star.
- Cooking pancakes at Grandma Thora's House where you must cook ten pancakes in order to get the star.
- In this minigame, you sort candy at The Sugar Bowl where you must sort 10 candies to get the star.
- In this minigame, you play air hockey with Buster and the player must score 7 times to get the star.
- In this minigame, you must sort 10 books at the Elwood City Public Library to get the star.
- Here you have to 10 deliver newspapers in order to get this star.
- In this minigame, the player dives for treasure. The amount of treasure changes to get the star.
- In this minigame, you must race against Brain in order to get this star.
Wonderworld[]
- Hitting a circle to hit a bell.
- Bumper Cars.
- Spraying a target with water in order to lift a water balloon.
- Skee-Ball.
- Throwing balls at a dunk target.
Characters[]
- Arthur Read - Arthur Read is the main character of the game and is the character that the player controls. He is also an aardvark
- D.W. Read - Arthur's little sister who can be very mischievous. She is also an aardvark.
- Francine Frensky - Francine Frensky is Arthur's friend in school who is very athletic. She is a monkey.
- Muffy Crosswire - Muffy Crosswire is Arthur's friend who is also very rich. She is a monkey as well but not related to Francine.
- Buster Baxter - Buster Baxter is Arthur's best friend who's parents are divorced. He is a rabbit.
- Alan Powers (The Brain) - Alan Powers is the braniac of Arthur's class. He is a bear. -
- Sue Ellen Armstrong - Sue Ellen Armstrong is a character who later joined the show after she moved to the city. She is a cat.
- Binky Barnes - Binky Barnes is a antagonist in the show as he is the class bully. He is a bulldog.
- Thora Read - Thora Read is Arthur and D.W.'s grandmother who enjoys making cookies for her grandkids. She is also an Aardvark.

- Clown - Presumably a clown.
