Ness's mother is a character from EarthBound. She is the mother of Tracy as well. She likes to cook Steak, as it is her children's favorite food, and will offer it to Ness whenever he comes home. Because Ness suffers from homesickness, he needs to call his mom regularly or he will stay in a sad mood, unable to fight at times. Despite this, Ness only gets to talk to his mother for a short while, as she is normally in the middle of another activity, such as ironing or a soap opera. However, she knows how to make her kid feel better when he is homesick. According to Ness's dad, she is a hard worker, just like her son.
