Daphnes are enemies seen in the Kid Icarus series. They are green plant monsters corrupted by Medusa's evil influence.

Kid Icarus[]
Daphnes were docile plant creatures that lived in the Palace in the Sky before Medusa invaded and turned them evil. They prefer to ambush Pit in groups of four.
Kid Icarus: Uprising[]

Daphnes are also in the long-awaited sequel, Kid Icarus: Uprising. They fire projectiles at Pit when opening their bud.
Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS[]
These guys appear in the Smash Run mode of Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS, both as standard enemies as well as in the Kid Icarus version of Defeat All the Enemies challenge. They use the same model as Uprising and act pretty similarly.
