Death Battle is a web show that is presented by RoosterTeeth (formerly ScrewAttack.com) that mostly pits at least two fictional characters against each other and usually having one victor. The show has featured a number of Nintendo characters.

  • In "Shredder VS Silver Samurai", when going over Shredder's backstory, Boomstick says that "[Tang Shen] only had eyes for Yoshi... Hamato Yoshi, not the dinosaur; that'd be weird."
  • "Crash VS Spyro" opens with the hosts bringing up the "Console Wars" between Nintendo and Sega, illustrated by clips from Super NES and Sega Genesis commercials.
  • A brief clip of the Captain N: The Game Master version of Mega Man appears at the beginning of "Mega Man Battle Royale".
