"Fire Bam" is an obscure Japan-only game developed by HAL and released for Nintendo's Famicom Disk System back in 1988. Despite it's unforgiving difficulty and bizarre setting, the game is actually pretty fun. You play as "Bam" as you travel through a mysterious forest to defeat a band of evil mutant-like creatures in order to restore your village and break the spell put on your parents. After you defeat a boss, the world unravels and new areas appear and new houses will pop up in your town. Collect fire stones dropped by enemies to buy equipment you'll need in order to progress. This is a non tool-assisted play through, though I did use save states. Enjoy!
