The Flare Dancer is a miniboss featured in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. In the title, you'll encounter him twice in the Fire Temple. In each battle he'll engulf himself in a variety of different elements, the primary one being fire. To easily defeat him, the player must use his hookshot to real his body out of the shell, and then attack him while he's out. He'll attempt to escape by running around the room, and Link can likewise give chase, preferably by running in the opposite direction to catch him by surprise. As a Goron suggests, you'll also be able to bring him out of his shell by logging a Bomb at him, though this is a much harder task.
