Heat Crash (ヒートスタンプ, Heat Stamp) is a damage-dealing Fire-type move introduced in the fifth generation. The Pokémon leaps into the air and ignites its body before coming down on the opponent with its full weight. It is the signature move of the Tepig family.

Effect[]

Heat Crash does damage based on the weight of the opponent in relation to the user. It has

  • 40 base power at its lowest if the target is greater than 1/2 of the user's weight.
  • 60 base power if the target is less than 1/2 but greater than 1/3 of the user's weight
  • 80 base power if the target is less than 1/3 but greater than 1/4 of the user's weight
  • 100 base power if the target is less than 1/4 but greater than 1/5 of the user's weight
  • 120 base power at its max if the target is than 1/5 of the user's weight.
