The Super Mario Bros. Movie is a 2023 CGI-animated feature film produced by Illumination and Nintendo, and distributed by Universal Pictures. It is the third film adaptation of the Mario series following the 1993 live-action film adaptation and the Super Mario Bros.: The Great Mission to Rescue Princess Peach! Japan-only anime film in 1986. The film stars Chris Pratt as the voice of Mario with an ensemble voice cast also includes Anya Taylor-Joy, Charlie Day, Jack Black, Keegan-Michael Key, Seth Rogen, Fred Armisen, Sebastian Maniscalco, Charles Martinet, Kevin Michael Richardson, Khary Payton, Jessica DiCicco, Eric Bauza, Rino Romano, John DiMaggio, Scott Menville and Juliet Jelenic.

Although Cosmog, Cosmoem, Solgaleo, Lunala, and Necrozma are not Ultra Beasts, they have a strong connection to Ultra Space (including the ability to create Ultra Wormholes) and as a result are often claimed to be or likened to the Ultra Beasts in various media (e.g. Necrozma is called UB: Black in the anime and the Aether Foundation has hypothesized that Cosmog may also be an Ultra Beast due to its ability to create Ultra Wormholes).
