Junji Morii is an art director at Nintendo EPD Production Group No. 4.
History[]
Morii originally joinined the company in 1996 as a designer for Nintendo EAD, working on various Nintendo 64 titles. For the original Pikmin on Nintendo GameCube, he was in charge of the finalized design of the eponymous creatures.
Afterwards, Morii was the art director of Mario Kart: Double Dash‼, Nintendogs and several Wii series games at Nintendo EAD 2. He was also an assistant director on Wii Music, where he worked on the sequencing and lessons, as well as the design manager of Nintendo Land.
After some other work at the company (including working on 1-2-Switch), Morii was the art director of Nintendo Switch Sports.
