Keron is an enemy in the Kid Icarus series. They are one-eyed, frog-like creatures with wings for arms and attack by hopping at their enemies.

Keron appears only in the Overworld, where they lay and wait for Pit to approach, then leap at him with a huge burst of speed. It's best to try and predict where they are going to land before attempting to deal with them

Keron does not appear in the Game Boy sequel, Kid Icarus: Of Myths and Monsters, but there are monsters called Cyclops Hoppers, which act just like Nettlers, but they are described as being more like grasshoppers than amphibians. They also attack in groups of four.

Kid Icarus: Uprising[]

Keron is one of the many enemies confirmed to return in the long-awaited third installment, Kid Icarus: Uprising. Kerons have been seen during the during the flying segments of the game, where they hop at Pit whenever he flies close to them
