Mach Rider is a Nintendo toy released in 1972 exclusively in Japan. The package came with a small toy vehicle, hence the name "Mach Rider", and a launcher from which the car can be sent out flying at high speed.
The toy was not actually created by Nintendo, rather,0 it was licensed from Hasbro to be distributed in Japan. It was originally known as "Yellow1 Tail Funny Car", but was renamed by Nintendo for the Japanese market.
