Mahi-Mahi Resort is the fourteenth map for Splatoon that released on December 3, 2015. The core feature of this map is that the water level changes in the middle of the match, washing off ink of certain platforms. It was announced alongside an update that featured new gear and weapons as well as the map Museum d'Alfonsino in a Nintendo Direct in November 2015.
