Starship Mario is a small planet in the Wii video game Super Mario Galaxy 2 which is used by Mario to access different galaxies. Considered to be the game's hub, the background changes when Mario travels to different worlds. Various characters are stationed on Starship Mario and more will arrive as the player progresses through the game.

Characters that will join Starship Mario

Over the course of the game, many characters will join Mario on his quest and take residence on Starship Mario. They rarely have any importance and only join Mario when he assists them or sees them in a stage. The following are the characters that will join him:
