Mets are enemies from the Mega Man series. Their name is derived from the word helmet.
Met[]
A Met is a helmeted enemy which walks like a Goomba. Mega Man must shoot it once to defeat it.
In Super Adventure Rockman, Mega Man ignored a Met family with a mother, father and baby Met.
Flying Mets[]
Flying Mets appear in some stages, like the one in Nitro Man's stage and when he hears a large truck honking, Mega Man must shoot up to defeat it.
Metty[]
Metty is a large Met. He is the boss in Wily's Fortress. Mega Man must shoot him and slide to avoid the jumping.
Other Media[]
A single Met called Doc appeared in The Beginning in the Mega Man anime created by Ruby-Spears. He is an anti-villain and works for Roll. He talks by making funny sounds. His models were later used for Eddie. It is possible that the creators created him to serve as a precursor to Eddie.
