Eiji Mukao is a Nintendo graphic designer, who works on backgrounds and landscapes. He joined Nintendo in April 2002, and started helping with The Wind Waker for the last development months.
On Pikmin 2, he helped create the Valley of Repose and the Wistful Wild maps. Some of his later work involved parts of Wuhu Island on Wii Fit and the landscape and backgrounds of New Super Mario Bros. Wii, among other titles.
