New Picture Cutter

New Picture Cutter.

New Picture Cutter is a toy Nintendo released in 1965 in response to the overwhelming success of the standard Picture Cutter. New Picture Cutter featured a major addition that the original didn't contain: electronic tools. The electronic tools made it easier to cut the pictures more precisely, though also resulted in a higher cost as well. Whereas the original cost 800 yen, New Picture Cutter cost 1000 yen. With the New Picture Cutter, players could construct elaborate pieces made of cardboard such as miniature battle ships, war tanks, airplanes and submarines.
