Phoenix is a space cop that comes from the 29th century appearing only in F-Zero GX and F-Zero AX. He travels through time to arrest criminals who have gone to other time periods to escape arrest. Phoenix traveled to the 27th century to enter the Grand Prix in order to stop a criminal from causing an event that would have drastic consequences on the future. While off-duty in the 29th century, Phoenix came across a discarded robot in a scrap pile and restored it and now Phoenix and the robot (QQQ) are partners.
