Poppy Bros. Sr. is a Mini-Boss in the Kirby series. This cheerful elf is the older brother of Poppy Bros. Jr., and like his younger sibling possesses a love for explosives. He hops back and forth lobbing bombs at Kirby, which can be inhaled and spat back at him. When defeated, Poppy Bros. Sr. gives the Crash ability in Kirby's Adventure and Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land, and the Bomb ability in future games. He is also capable of "dashing" into the puff, first starting in the Extra Game of Kirby's Dream Land. Interestingly, the younger brother appears much more then him, and, despite being the first mid-boss of the whole series, he has yet to make a 3D appearance.
