Sandlot is a video game developer founded in 2001. They are most known for their work on the Earth Defense Force series. So far, every game they have developed on a Nintendo console has been published by Nintendo themselves with the Earth Defense Force ports being ported by another studio. They are a Japanese company, and their slogan, which is in English, doesn't make too much sense: "Like kids playing in a sandlot, let's do fun things! In Freedom!!".
