Serena is a character in Animal Crossing: City Folk. The player must visit the town hall and donate enough bells to their town fund to have a fountain built in town in order to talk to Serena. Once the construction is complete (and Tortimer moves out of the player's way), the player must toss an axe into the fountain to summon a mystical character named Serena. Once the player answers Serena's questions, she may give the player either a silver or gold axe, which won't break. However, there is also a chance Serena won't return the player's axe at all.
