Link performing the Spin Attack.
The Spin Attack is a move used by Link in The Legend of Zelda series and Super Smash Bros. series. When performed, Link will charge his sword with magic extending the blade's reach and then spin around damaging all enemies around him. The longer the sword is charged the greater the attack's range will be. In the Super Smash Bros series the move, when used in the air, also functions as a recovery technique with great vertical distance but poor horizontal movement.
The name of the attack has changed in the various different games it's appeared in, all of which can be seen below.
