TV no Tomo Channel G Guide for Wii (commonly known as the TV Guide Channel in English speaking countries.), is a downloadable channel from the Wii Shop in Japan. The user can check upcoming and currently airing TV Shows. Rather than simply doing that, however, selecting a channel from the guide will lead the user to that channel on their TV. Also, it allows Wii Remote TV syncing, so the Remote can be used as a regular TV remote and recommending programs to friends.[1]
