Fist of the North Star: Ken's Rage 2 is a beat 'em up game for the Wii U. It is based on long-running Fist of the North Star manga series. Outside of Japan, it was only released on the Wii U eShop.

Gameplay

The gameplay in Ken's Rage 2 is similar to other Dynasty Warriors titles. Enemies come in large hordes, with fast paced movement. The characters have three main fighting styles (Hokuto, Nanto and Special), but these vary small bits between the characters. The game has short evasion system, moving slightly with chances to counterattack.

Character stat growth is depend on collecting stat items in stages to enhance them with each one affecting one of five stats. Once these items are obtained, players can edit their characters' capabilities in or outside of battle by equipping these items in an assorted order.

Plot

The plot of Ken's Rage 2's Legend Mode retells the story of the Fist of the North Star's first two story arc with multiple playable characters. Several side characters are present to reenact various scenes from the manga. Quick Time Events can happen in the midst of cutscenes and boss battles. Penalties for QTEs vary upon when they happen with sometimes leading the villain to recover or the quick kill chance is missed, causing the fight to resume as normal instead of ending right there.

The game's Dream Mode shows the backstories of most of the playable characters with several alternative scenarios. There are 6 episodes
